The NYU School of Professional Studies serves a wide audience of students from undergraduate, to masters, and working professionals seeking career advancement. As its offerings grew, and application season was upon them, the website needed to better communicate its depth of programs to prospects through simple navigation.
The objective of the redesign was to redefine the website, transforming it from a recruitment and information hub into a clear user-centered experience enriched with featured storytelling. As a UI designer on the project, I contributed to the design by building and documenting a flexible design system, and creating scalable components to create consistency across the site's thousands of pages.

Inspired by the NYC street grid, the visual language combines bold lines, confident typography, and structured layouts to capture the energy of both NYU and New York City. A persistent, sticky side navigation reinforces that structure, helping users stay oriented and navigate confidently through the site's extensive content.

This project shifted how I thought about websites, moving from page-level thinking to system-wide design. Every decision needed to work not only at an atomic level but also within the broader ecosystem, creating a cohesive foundation that could scale and evolve for years to come.
